Quinoa has grown popular the last few years as more people
are searching for a healthy gluten-free carb source they can pair with their low-fat protein. Compared to wheat, quinoa is low-glycemic and packed with protein. Scientist have recently discovered that it is also loaded with ecdysteroids, a naturally occurring steroid found in plants and insects (and for which humans weirdly have a receptor for).
