Elena Andrade’s sublime 2009 contest season keeps getting better. Andrade, who followed her Overall Bikini victory at my Junior Cal in June with an impressive sixth place finish at the USA three weeks ago, rolled to another Overall triumph on Saturday, this time at the Pacific USA Naturals, held at Anaheim High School. And, The Compton, California horse trainer ain’t through; she told me she’s meeting a friend to compete in the NPC San Francisco , October 11 at Chabot College in Hayward. Who knows after that?. This 31-year-old beauty loves the stage–and the stage loves her back. Might we see her at the Border States, or Excalibur before the current season comes to an end?
Congrats to all the other Pacific USA winners as well: Scott Reynolds "Wrap" (okay, he was peeled, get it gang?), took the Men’s Overall, with Jason DeLaCruz doing likewide in the Men’s Novice division. Albert Oganesia won the Teen category.
In the women’d department, Trish Davidson captured a solid Figure division, while Christan Duhart won both the Pacific USA Naturals and Western Armed Forces Bobybuilding crowns. Kip Parquet looked good in topping the field in Men’s bodybuilding in the Western All Forces battle and the 40+ in the PUSA, while Kristie Tatum, interviewed on video at this site by Ruthless Ruth Silverman at the Junior Cal, dominated the WAF Figure battle.
