According to the Canadian Journal of Applied Physiology, a number of studies show that supplemental glutamine is beneficial to athletes: ‘Based on the available clinical evidence, we would speculate that glutamine has potential utility as a dietary supplement for athletes engaged in heavy exercise training (24[1]:1-14;1999).’
Thanks, guys, but bodybuilders have already figured that out. Most take two to five grams a day to bolster recovery, immunity and the anabolic processes.
