We’ve all had it, that distracting, sometimes debilitating pain in the cranium that over-the-counter pain relievers won’t knock out. So here are some home remedies from the booklet Got Pain? Easy Remedies From Head to Toe (a supplement to Bottom Line Publications):
1) Clip a clothespin to the earlobe closest to where the pain is; leave it attached for one minute.
2) Bite down on the end of your tongue as hard as you can without severe pain for five minutes.
3) Drink a cup of chamomile tea.
4) Put very cold water in a bathtub about five inches deep. Dress warmly but leave your feet bare. Then step around in the cold water until your feet start to feel warm—one to three minutes. Dry your feet, slip into bed, and relax.
