Powerlifting USA proudly presents two exciting days of powerlifting events at Muscle Beach Venice on Memorial Day Weekend.
May 29, 2010 the Muscle Beach Military National Championship is open to all active, reserve, National Guard, retired and veteran military personnel from all branches. This event is a World qualifier for the WPF World Championships that will be held in England.
Also that day the following individuals will be inducted into the Powerlifting Hall of Fame – Danny McDermott, Glen Maur, Rick Van Unen, Ted Hamner, Robbie Roberts, Bob Strange, Jim Grudzien, and Evangeline Keresey.
On Sunday, May 30, 2010 the USPF Muscle Beach Benchpress & Deadlift Championship starts another exciting day of lifting.
Both events take place at the Venice Recreation Center – the events are open to the public and admission is free.
Lifting starts both days at 10 am. For lifters the entry fee is $65.00 per lifter, additional division entry fee is $35.00. The entry must be postmarked no later the May 8, 2010 to avoid a late fee.

In addition to the lifting a Fit Expo of health and fitness vendors will be providing education, giveaways and support to the event.
