No mystery re my failure to report the results of the FIBO Power Pro Women’s Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, which took place on April 15 in Essen, Germany: The work schedule got a bit hairy. With promoters Ed and Betty Pariso’s next big event, The Europa Show of Champions taking place this past weekend in Orlando, Florida, it seemed like the perfect time to play catch-up.
In the fitness show Germany’s Regiane Da Silva made the most of her home country advantage to earn the win, with Diana Monteiro of Brazil, who won the Arnold Amateur in early March, tying Da Silva in the routine round to take second in her pro debut. Camala Rodriguez, fresh off her big victory at the New York Pro the previous week, had to settle for third in this top-three Olympia qualifier. Interesting because Camala had finished three spots ahead of Regiane at the Fitness International, also held during the Arnold Sports Festival in March, where she just missed qualifying for the O. Now that problem is solved for the veteran athlete, who has competed in every Fitness Olympia since 2006.
Here are the results:

3) Camela Rodriguez*
