Gunter Schlierkamp has received a special invite to the ’02 Mr. Olympia. Gentle Gunter, a giant of a man at 6’2”, 285 pounds, says he’ll be in the best shape of his life after working with Charles “Cut” Glass this year.… Craig Titus, who initially said he’d be passing on the O, now says he’s back in. All Weider-contacted athletes—which includes Craig—are required to do the show if they qualify.… Tom Prince, who didn’t make this season’s Mr. O list, will be having knee surgery soon.… Congratulations to Sean Ergas (Men’s bodybuilding), Sarah Dunlap (Women’s bodybuilding), Trish Mayberry (Fitness) andCarrie Fickle (Figure) for their Overall victories at the ’02 Junior Nationals, which were held on June 15 in Chicago. A month earlier Dunlap did likewise at the Pittsburgh Championships.
