Today’s exercise video how-to focuses on whether toes-in calf raises work the outer head of the calf, while toes-out” calf raises work the inner heads of the calf. When you rotate the feet, you’re not changing the position of the calf relative to the ankle. However, toes-in is recommended in order to get a better footing on the block.
